Plantlife - National Meadows Day

01 July 2023

Saturday  1 July

National Meadows Day

National Meadows Day is an annual event which takes place on the first Saturday of July each year to celebrate our magnificent meadows.

It is a chance to visit meadows at their midsummer best, to have fun and to raise awareness of this vanishing habitat.

National Meadows Day is a day of events and activities across the UK, this year please see this page for more information. We look forward to seeing your shared photographs of your meadows day fun – social media posts, paintings – please use the #NationalMeadowsDay!

Keep an eye on Plantlife’s  Facebook,  Twitter  and  Instagram.

Many Plantlife Nature Reserves are meadows and several are open to visit year-round.

And if you can’t make it into a meadow yourself, then we can bring a meadow to you  (video).
